Jacqueline Fernandez has made headlines for her alleged association with Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The actress was showered with gifts worth crore by the con artist, who is being questioned by the Directorate of Execution for his involvement in a 200 crore money laundering case. According to the latest report, the DE will seize all the gifts received by the actress. According to India Today, Jacqueline received gifts worth over Rs 10 crore from Sukesh Chandrasekhar between December 2020 and August 2021. He allegedly gave Jacqueline two pairs of diamond earrings, two Hermes bracelets, three bags Birkin and a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes. Nora Fatehi is also said to have obtained a BMW car from Sukesh Chandrasekhar and the same will be seized by the investigation agency.
In her statement, recorded to ED officials, Jacqueline said she had been in contact with Sukesh Chandrasekhar since 2017 and that the scammer told her he was from the family of the late Jayalalithaa. “I have been speaking to Sukesh since February 2017. In August 2021 he was arrested, after which I never met him. He told me that he is the owner of Sun TV and the Jayalalithaa political family.” , Jacqueline told the ED. , reads the indictment. Jacqueline also mentioned that her sister took out a loan of $ 150,000 from Chandrasekhar and agreed to have him transfer around Rs 15 lakh to her brother’s account who lives in Australia.
Besides Jacqueline and Nora, Sukesh Chandrashekhar had also revealed her association with other Bollywood celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty and Harman Baweja. In his disclosure statement, Chandrasekhar told ED he knew actor Harman Baweja and planned to co-produce his next movie “Captain” with Kartik Aryan. Chandrashekhar’s disclosure statement also mentioned that he also contacted actor Shilpa Shetty for the parole of her husband Raj Kundra.
