Meghan Markle received an eternity ring for her birthday with Prince Harry

The Duchess of Sussex made her first public appearance at Trooping the Color after giving birth. Many noticed that she was wearing a new ring, which many believed to be a gift from her husband after giving birth.

The ring would have been a gift to celebrate their anniversary, according to People. The anniversary was also publicly remembered on the royal couple’s Instagram account where they shared never-before-seen photos from their wedding.

The freebies don’t stop there. The royal is said to have received gifts after giving birth to Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier spoke about this tradition with The Sun.

The Duchess of Cambridge received a gift after the birth of her children: Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and it is assumed that she also did so for Prince Louis, eight months old. When Prince George was born in 2013, Prince William gave his wife a circular pendant bearing the full name of their firstborn, George Alexander Louis. After Princess Charlotte’s birth in May 2015, Kate received a pair of £ 3,500 tourmaline, green amethyst and diamond earrings designed by Kiki McDonough.

Given this story, Meier predicted that Markle would get jewelry as well. It’s not just because it’s a royal tradition.

“Since the start of their relationship, they have used jewelry to stay close, with the duo wearing matching bracelets while Meghan was in Toronto and Prince Harry was in London. I believe Prince Harry will be giving away a keepsake piece of jewelry that will be worn publicly the week of the birth.

Looks like the two duchesses received eternity rings from their husbands for different occasions. However, jewelry is a popular gift after giving birth to a member of the royal family. Chances are, they will no longer be seen stacking rings on their ring fingers, but will get other types of jewelry from their husbands in the future.
