Meghan Markle received a stunning Prince Harry Eternity Ring after baby Archie was born in May, and it has a very sweet meaning behind it
The Duchess of Sussex is a very lucky lady! After the arrival of baby Archie, the Duke of Sussex gave his wife a stunning eternity ring to mark their growing family, as well as the couple’s first wedding anniversary. Prince Harry worked with renowned jeweler Lorraine Schwartz and added the birthstones of Meghan, himself and their baby Archie under the ring, reports Bazaar.com. There is a green emerald for Archie, a blue sapphire for Harry, and a green peridot stone for the Duchess. In addition, each stone has its own meaning and significance. Sapphires are said to protect your loved ones from harm, peridots confer power to those who wear them, and emeralds are said to symbolize love.

While working with Lorraine, Harry took the opportunity to have Meghan’s engagement ring fitted with a new diamond ring, replacing her original gold ring. This was first noticed by eagle-eyed fans when she first introduced Archie to the world and Trooping the Color. The Duchess’s ring features two of the diamonds of the late Princess Diana, while the central diamond is from Botswana, where the couple had previously left together. Harry opened up about his importance during the couple’s first interview with the BBC right after their engagement was announced. “The ring is obviously in yellow gold because it is [Meghan’s] favorite and the main stone itself which I bought in Botswana and the little diamonds on each side are from my mother’s jewelry collection, to make sure she is with us on this crazy journey together, â€a he declared.

A sweet tribute to the characteristics of baby Archie in the ring
Meghan’s ring was seen again on Saturday when she appeared alongside Harry at the London Stadium to watch the Boston Red Sox play against the New York Yankees. The baseball game was for the benefit of the Invictus Games Foundation. Meghan looked stunning in a black Stella McCartney dress and Aquazzura Deneuve black suede ballet flats. Harry, meanwhile, proudly wore his Invictus Games polo shirt. The new mom has only made a handful of public appearances since Archie was born on May 6, but was undoubtedly thrilled to show her support for Harry and his charity this weekend. As an American, MLB has a major draw for Meghan.
