Fresh from a performance in Milan earlier this week, Alicia Keys received an extravagant piece of jewelry from hubby Swizz Beatz.
Designed by renowned jeweler Elliot Eliantte, TMZ reports the 150-carat pendant cost around $400,000. The necklace is adorned with baguette diamonds cast in the shape of large pyramids, which sit alongside a portrait of Alicia inspired by the 18th century ancient Egyptian queen Nerfiti.
Eliantte took to Instagram on Thursday to show off her work, posting a video showing Alicia trying on the pendant for the first time among a packed room of guests.
“Legendary nights with legendary people!” the jeweler captioned the clip. “From New York to Milan @aliciakeys gets a special necklace from her husband @therealswizzz and their kids.”
Eliantte then shared another video of the lavish piece, writing, “Art Piece Made For A Queen. The iconic Nefertiti was sculpted to look like @aliciakeys. This custom designed link made up of Ankhs and Infinity links symbolizes eternal life. The rods are placed in a brick formation like the great pyramids of Egypt. »
This isn’t the first time Swizz has called on Eliantte to make a pendant for his wife. In December 2021, the blockbuster gifted Alicia a rare piece to celebrate the release of her latest album, Keys.
The necklace paid homage to Keys’ 2021 LP with the wording written above the glazed piano keys. Check it out below.
