The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pair of sapphire earrings that belonged to Princess Diana at an event in London on Thursday February 3, alongside Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Kate’s blue sapphire earrings are surrounded by a ring of diamonds and match her signature ring, which also belonged to Princess Diana. The earrings were remodeled (from a stud style to a dangling earring) and given to the Duchess by Prince William after their engagement.
The sentimental set appears to be a Kate favorite as she has been seen wearing them several times since getting married in 2011.
During her last outing, the Duchess wore the earrings with a gray Catherine Walker coat dress, which featured an elegant black collar. She accessorized the outfit with a classic black Mulberry handbag (already sold out), black tights and low-heeled pumps.
A selection of photographs shared on official social media show the Duchess alongside Prince Charles and Camilla, with the iconic O2 area behind them.
The Royals were visiting Trinity Buoy Wharf in London to tour a number of programs which receive support from the Prince’s Trust.
In a caption shared with the post, Kate said it was “wonderful to be surrounded by creative activity at @trinitybuoywharf today – where an abundance of passion, talent and imagination is on display.”

The caption went on to explain that the programs visited “provide valuable skills to help prepare young people as they transition to art school, architecture school, craft schools or directly into practice.”
Other images shared show the Duchess of Cambridge meeting people on the program and seeing their work, like sketches.
