The Duchess of Sussex was all smiles during the Trooping of the Color parade on Saturday, her first public appearance since welcoming baby Archie Harrison five weeks ago.
Wave to the crowd on the drive to Buckingham Palace, royal watchers quickly spotted a new piece of bling on Duchess Meghan’s left ring finger – an eternity band believed to be a birthday present from Prince Harry.
Fan page Meghan’s Mirror shared the news on Twitter that the royal wore “a third ring on her ring finger – a delicate pavé band – alongside her engagement and wedding bands”.

Royal sources have since said People that the Duchess’s sparkler is a birthday present from her husband. The Sussexes celebrated their first wedding anniversary on May 19, a milestone made all the more special after the birth of their first child on May 6.

Kathryn Money, vice president of an ethically sourced jewelry store shiny earth, told Fox News that the most recent ring on the royal’s finger appears to be a white gold or platinum eternity band set with pavé diamonds.

“Eternity diamond rings often represent a milestone like a birthday or the birth of a child,” Money said of the trend. “We’re seeing more and more brides stacking multiple wedding bands on their ring finger, including dainty minimalist rings or interlocking rings that embrace the center gemstone, creating a unique statement.”

Prince Harry may have followed his older brother’s lead in giving the gift – Prince William reportedly gave Duchess Kate an eternity ring after the birth of their first child, Prince George, People reports.
